Latest News Maxell announces the MXSP-SB3000 Soundbar, its most powerful Soundbar to date

London, UK, 6th September – Maxell today announces the MXSP-SB3000, a 2.1 channel soundbar, with built-in sub, a unique design and programmable remote control. It has been designed to add high quality audio to slim-TVs that typically lack the muscle of a dedicated home theatre system. It adds punch to gaming, power to music, clarity to speech and atmosphere to movies. It also features Bluetooth for playing music directly from your mobile device, and a USB port which can charge your Smartphone or Tablet.

The MXSP-SB3000 is designed to sit discreetly beneath big-screen TVs weighing up to 80kg. It packs a 100w woofer, with a pair of 30w front speakers for a spine-tingling 160w of 2.1-channel sound. The D class amplifier uses SRS Wow HD to offer high definition clarity of sound, TruBass reproduction for a sculpted bass response, and a range of sound modes for cinema, music, speech and sport.

The Bluetooth connection offers a wireless option for playing music. Syncing with any Bluetooth device is simple, and can be set up from the remote control. To stop your MP3 player or Smartphone using up power while playing, there is a USB port on the front of the Soundbar to supply power to your audio player.

The MXSP-SB3000 has a VFD dot LED matrix display which gives bright and clear information that can be read at a distance, but can be remotely dimmed so as not to distract from the TV. The Soundbar comes with a remote control that can be programmed to operate your TV as well as the Soundbar; operation without the remote comes from a touch sensitive panel at the front of the system.

The Soundbar has five wired digital inputs, 3x HDMI, 1 Optical and one Coaxial. There is a single HDMI output that plugs into the TV. The wooden frame isn’t just a solid base for your TV; it also acoustically enhances the bass output. It measures 930 x 390 x 82mm, suitable for TVs up to 80kg. The soundbar weighs 8.6kg.
